The Crafty Mart Board of Directors has made the decision to cancel our Holiday Market for 2023, originally scheduled for November 25th and 26th.

This was an extremely difficult decision that was based on the combination of many circumstances that we feel can't be overcome. Crafty Mart has prided itself on hosting well-organized and well-attended markets with high quality makers for nearly 15 years. This year, we were faced with hosting our event on a smaller scale, and with fewer vendors, due to renovations at our Carbon Black home in Bounce Innovation Hub.

While the staff at Bounce has been very accommodating and helpful in trying to make this market work in a limited space, we also sought out other locations in and around downtown Akron to host the market. We did not find another venue suitable to our needs. In addition, like many other organizations, we are attempting to keep the organization moving forward despite recent staffing challenges and a small volunteer board.

At this time we believe it is in the best interest of all to take this pause as we look to our organization’s next steps. We are grateful for your support this year and hope we can work together in the future. Please direct any questions or inquiries to info@craftymart.org.
