Introducing the newest member of the Crafty Mart Board of Directors, Alexander Draven!

You may recognize Alexander from his Vendor Spotlight post. Like many on our team, he started his journey with our organization as an artist. Who better to help us meet the needs of local artists?

As the man behind Exquisite Corpse Boutique (or The ExCB for short), I have been a vendor with Crafty Mart from nearly the very beginning. I am very excited to become a board member after years of being a part of the Crafty Mart experience.

I began my journey with production jewelry while still earning my BFA in Studio Arts with an emphasis in Metalsmithing from The Myers School of Art. After graduation, I paired my skills and my obsession with time and began creating unique timepieces for the individual and the masses.

Though I work 10-16 hours in my studio on any given day, I also teach jewelry making classes at The Canton Museum of Art, watch ALL THE MOVIES, and torment/get tormented by my four-legged partner in crime, Paige.

Over the years Crafty Mart has helped me grow as a person and as a brand. They were an integral part of realizing my dream of becoming a full time Artist and they have become part of my family. I want to help my fellow makers down the path I have traveled during my time with this organization.
